thanks bailey. the camera is just a little digital one. it's actually kind of crappy. the pictures we are getting are half as amazing as the real thing. the weird rocks are called the morekai boulders. brooke will probably put some more pictures of them on her blog.
Among the oxen (like an ox I'm slow) I see a glory in the stable grow Which, with the ox's dullness might at length Give me an ox's strength.
Among the asses (stubborn I as they) I see my Savior where I looked for hay; So may my beastlike folly learn at least The patience of a beast.
Among the sheep (I like a sheep have strayed) I watch the manger where my Lord is laid; Oh that my baa-ing nature would win thence Some woolly innocence!
A blog of epic proportions. Okay, so it's probably not epic, but i'm sure there are some sort of proportions in play here. This is a place where family and friends can keep up with our transpacific adventures. It's also a place where anyone who's interested can trace the wanderings of my wonderings.

The Nativity
Among the oxen (like an ox I'm slow)
I see a glory in the stable grow
Which, with the ox's dullness might at length
Give me an ox's strength.
Among the asses (stubborn I as they)
I see my Savior where I looked for hay;
So may my beastlike folly learn at least
The patience of a beast.
Among the sheep (I like a sheep have strayed)
I watch the manger where my Lord is laid;
Oh that my baa-ing nature would win thence
Some woolly innocence!
