ahhhhhhh yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and by the way it is not yet 5:45 pm here on July 1st still so weird. I'm so so so excited for you. And I owe you a case of dr pepper :) and brooke you are so awesome! someday i want to be just like you :)
She hasn't even been born yet, and you're already taking her home! Holy cow, people! Do they kick you out right away there, or did you guys just want to go home early?
Also, she's adorable. I'm so happy for you guys! Yay!
Haha, apparently my family are slightly stalkerish. Or we just really love you guys and miss seeing you so we follow your blogs religiously. You guys are amazing. Another girl... have fun with that! Maybe they will be just like Jenny and I. Eh, hopefully not. Love you guys. I thank the Lord in all my remembrances of you!
YAY!!! Congratulations! Mamma and baby both look beautiful! Enjoy those special moments introducing Sohpia to her new little sister. It's sure to be a tear jerker! Love to all! Mel
Thanks for all the congrats. To answer several people's question; no, we weren't in the hospital long after Zoe was born. In NZ they only let you stay for about 2 hours. You then have to get everyone in the car and drive to the antenatal place. Annoying.
That picutre is Brooke 2 hours after giving birth?!?! AMAZING!! Seriously, you need to shower that woman with luxury for being such a trooper. I can't believe they make you leave so early!
congratulations Travis and especially Brooke (since she did 99.9% of the work). Another niece for my quiver. Travis, you are still outnumbered. All the best and grace, Uncle Luke.
p.s. a very moving story about Sue. I am praying for him (and you).
Just an FYI - it is only Auckland Hospital that operates like that in having you shipped out within 24 hours after birth. All the other main hospitals in Auckland let you stay in at least 2-3 days.
A blog of epic proportions. Okay, so it's probably not epic, but i'm sure there are some sort of proportions in play here. This is a place where family and friends can keep up with our transpacific adventures. It's also a place where anyone who's interested can trace the wanderings of my wonderings.
